What is Eco Schools?

Education for Sustainable Development

Developed in 1994, Eco Schools is a response to the needs identified at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development.

The National Wildlife Federation was granted host status as the national operator for Eco Schools USA, which was launched in 2009.

Education for Sustainable Development is about enabling students to constructively and creatively address present and future global challenges and create more sustainable and resilient societies.

Awards

Clark Fork School is the only school in Montana to receive a Green Flag award. In December 2020, we received our second!
