Clark Fork School’s Annual Wine Raffle

Every Fall, Clark Fork School hosts an Annual Wine Raffle to raise money for our teachers’ professional development. Research shows that an inspiring and informed teacher is the most important school-related factor influencing student achievement and engagement. Clark Fork School pays close attention to how we train and support both new and experienced educators because we know they are our most valuable resource. Night Blooming Jasmine (Teacher Whitni’s gypsy jazz band) will be serenading us the night of the Wine Raffle. Get ready to dance! Music starts at 6PM.

 

DRINKS FOR PURCHASE

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase the night of the event. Drink tickets will be purchased at the Welcome Table. You may purchase tickets with cash or by charging directly to your Clark Fork School account.

PRIZES

The 1o wine baskets we will be raffling off have been curated by Missoula Wine Merchants. The baskets include 2 CFS wine tumblers and range from $50-$200 in value.

We recognize that not all community members are interested in purchasing raffle tickets for baskets of wine. We will have a handful of non-alcoholic baskets to raffle off the night of the event as well. These raffle tickets will be sold at the door for a discounted price.

TICKETS

You can purchase raffle tickets directly from Jocelyn in the office (cash, check, charge to your CFS account) or purchase additional tickets from CFS families. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase on site as well as tickets for the special raffles. You may purchase tickets with cash or by charging directly to your Clark Fork School account.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO WIN THE RAFFLE.

1 ticket = $10

5 tickets = $40

BRING YOUR CHILDREN OR REGISTER FOR CHILDCARE

This year, we would like to welcome the whole community to the Wine Raffle. This means our students and their siblings as well! You are welcome to bring your children. If you would rather use childcare, Clark Fork School is providing childcare at the school (2525 Rattlesnake Dr) from 5:30-8:30PM. Interested in childcare? PLEASE REGISTER BY OCTOBER 31ST.

EVENT VOLUNTEERS

It truly takes a village to make an event like the Annual Wine Raffle run smoothly. We are looking for community members who are willing to help out with a variety of jobs the night of the event. Sign up sheets will be available at the Wine Raffle table in front of the school during drop off/pick up. The online volunteer form will up updated as spots are filled.

 

Event Setup (3 volunteers)

This job is pretty straight forward. Come to Burns St. Center at 4:30PM the night of the event to help setup. This includes moving tables, setting up the Welcome Table, getting the bar ready, placing promotional materials, and decorations, among other things.

Welcome Table (6 volunteers)

We need volunteers to run the Welcome Table for 1 hour shifts. 2 volunteers will be at the table for each shift. This includes welcoming attendees at the door, selling additional raffle tickets, selling Clark Fork School swag, and answering questions. You will be trained by a Fundraising Committee member before the night of the event.

Recycling (1 volunteer)

We need a volunteer to bring all of the recycling to the Clark Fork School recycling bin at the end of the evening (or the next day).

Dishes (2 volunteers)

Although we request that everyone bring their own dishes and utensils for the potluck, we recognize that some people will likely forget so we will be bringing supplemental dishes from Clark Fork School. At the end of the evening, we are looking for a volunteer to take whatever dishes are used back to the school (or their home) to be washed.

Event Cleanup (3 volunteers)

In order to receive our deposit back, we need to make sure the event space is in good shape when we leave it.
