Here's this week's glimpse into what's happening in and out of our classrooms here in the day school! These feature lessons, activities, centers, and saunters from a different classroom each week.
Today's feature: Meadowlark's Kindness Chain
The Meadowlarks revisited our community agreement in order to teach Teacher Caitlin about the expectations in the Meadowlark Room. Since our community agreement is based on being kind to ourselves, to others, and to the planet, we decided to keep track of our kindness over the rest of the year. Every time a teacher or a child sees a Meadowlark student do something kind, we write it down on a piece of paper and attach it to our Kindness Chain. Our goal as a class is to make our chain reach across the whole classroom by the end of the year. We have already watched our kindness grow so much this spring!
