CAN YOU DISCOVER THE LOCATIONS OF OUR SCALE MODELS?
The Journeyers class has been occupied with an in-depth exploration of our solar system this winter. Each student researched a planet or dwarf planet and presented the information to classmates. Each planetary expert then built an artistic scale model of the planet studied. Using math and Google Earth, we identified some "kid-friendly" host locations for each of the planets and dwarf planets at the average orbital distance to scale. The scale models are now in place all across Missoula and beyond.
