Welcome to Preschool 1 With Marcia, Caitlin, and the Jumping Trout

We strive to create a classroom where children are loved and appreciated for their individuality. We help children learn to recognize and respect their role in our community, to treat friends and themselves with kindness, and to have fun learning. One of our priorities is to assist in the development of a meaningful connection with the outdoors and an acute sensory awareness and curiosity. We allow children to experience nature through play and provide mentored outdoor time where they can find the magic themselves. We work on developing academic skills and life skills through nature exploration, sensory experiences, hands-on projects, and community building. Check in with this blog to see what amazing things we are doing!
